DevOps Engineer
Role Overview:
As a DevOps Engineer at Edixen Solutions, you’ll be the backbone of our cloud and deployment strategies, ensuring seamless, secure, and scalable delivery of applications. You’ll design and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, and collaborate with development teams to bridge code and cloud. Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Infrastructure & Automation:
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep (Infrastructure-as-Code).
Deploy and manage containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
Monitor and optimize Microsoft Azure services (App Service, Functions, AKS, Storage, Azure SQL).
Security & Reliability:
Implement security best practices using Azure AD, Key Vault, RBAC, and network security groups.
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for critical systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks across development, staging, and production environments.
Collaboration & Optimization:
Partner with developers to streamline build, test, and release processes.
Advocate for DevOps culture, fostering collaboration between development and operations teams.
Continuously improve tooling, automation, and observability (logging, metrics, alerts).
Requirements:
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with hands-on Azure cloud expertise.
Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline design (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and IaC tools (Terraform, ARM).
Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation tasks.
Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and cloud-native architectures.
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and version control (Git).
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
Fluency in English; Swedish language skills are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Administrator Associate.
Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP) or hybrid infrastructure.
Familiarity with microservices, serverless architectures, or APIM.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
